Jersey Reds head coach Harvey Biljon says a win over London Scottish on Friday night can be a catalyst ahead of a big month for his side.
The Reds host Scottish – who are one place below them in eleventh in the Championship – on Friday night, before travelling to the league’s bottom-placed club, Rotherham Titans, a week on Saturday.
Jersey have lost their last four games in the league, either side of a brace of wins in the British & Irish Cup.
There is only one change to their XV from the defeat to Bristol two weeks ago, with Josh Hodson coming in for the injured Apakuki Ma’afu.
While Oli Bryant, who has been ruled out since early October, takes Jason Worrall’s spot among the replacements.
The players have come back this week refreshed after a week off. They’ve trained really well. Preparations have gone good, and they’re really excited. What we’re hoping is this game is a catalyst for us to continue, not looking long-term in the season, but continue through what’s going to be a very important month.
