Samsung’s Deep Sea Blue colour option is now available for pre-order in Germany
The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is proving as popular as expected, with most reports citing robust sales estimates so far. Samsung is hard at work on the Galaxy S9, Galaxy X, and Galaxy Note 9, according to recent reports, but that doesn’t mean the Galaxy Note 8 won’t still be getting some love, as it’s been revealed today that a new colour option is arriving in the European market – Deep Sea Blue.
At launch, Samsung’s Galaxy Note 8 phablet was revealed in four colours; Midnight Black, Maple Gold, Orchid Grey, and Deep Sea Blue. most of the promotional material showed all four colours together. However, as is typical for the smartphone market these days, not every colour has been available in every region.
Most territories have been given a binary choice between two of those colours, and in Europe this has primarily been either gold or black.
The Deep Sea Blue option has remained elusive. Until now.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 in Deep Sea Blue is now up for pre-order in Germany, available via the official Samsung web store with a price tag of €999 and shipping date of October 26. Carrier networks and other retailers will probably have it in short order, and ultimately it will likely roll out to other European countries soon as well.
There is one kick in the nuts from all this though; Samsung has officially confirmed that it has no plans to bring the Orchid Grey model to Europe…ever. Frankly, we’ll take the blue over the grey any day of the week though.
