Nottingham’s annual Civic Service of Remembrance will take place at the War Memorial, Victoria Embankment on Sunday 12 November, starting at 10.45am.
Derby’s Remembrance Sunday Service takes place at The Market Place from 10:30 onwards.
Leicester’s annual Remembrance Day service and parade will take place at Victoria Park on Sunday 12 November from 10:40. Military veterans, local civic dignitaries and members of the public expected to make up a crowd of around 3,000 people.
Birmingham: The Salvation Army Band and the West Midlands Fire Service Pipe Band will commence to play on Victoria Square at 10.00 am. Uniformed contingents will march on at 10.30 am. The Lord Mayor’s Party will process from the Council House at 10:50 am and the service will commence. The two minute silence will take place at 11:00 am.
Wolverhampton: Wolverhampton’s annual Observance of Remembrance will be held at the Cenotaph in St Peter’s Square on Sunday November 12th, 2017. The service begins at 10:35.
Solihull: Solihull’s Remembrance Parade will form up at 10.30am at St Alphege War Memorial and the Act of Remembrance Memorial will commence at 10.50am attended by the Mayor and Councillors. This will be followed by a full Memorial Service in St Alphege
Hereford: Hereford’s Remembrance Sunday Service takes place at St Peter’s Square from 10:00 – 13:00
Worcester: A service will take place at Worcester Cathedral at 10.00am, followed by a wreath-laying ceremony at the War Memorial in the Cathedral grounds. This will incorporate the two minutes’ silence at 11.00am, which will end with the firing of a gun, followed by the playing of the Last Post.
