There is a new leader in the race to become Everton’s next permanent manager with some bookmakers.
The Blues are still looking for their next boss after the sacking of Ronald Koeman last month – with many names already said to be leading the way such as Sam Allardyce, Sean Dyche, David Unsworth and even Diego Simeone.
However, with the bets still flying in on the market, some bookmakers have made Marco Silva their new favourite to take the main job at Goodison Park.
Skybet have the Watford manager at evens to take the role – despite only taking over at vicarage Road in the summer following his departure from Hull City after their relegation.
The Portugese manager’s closest contender according to the bookies is Unsworth, the man currently in caretaker charge of Everton .
Skybet have the 44-year-old as a 6/4 second favourite to take the job, although some bookmakers still have him as their favourite ahead of Marco Silva.
Dyche is now back at 6/1 with Skybet whilst Allardyce is at 8/1 – Simeone level with Guus Hiddink, Manuel Pellegrini, Thomas Tuchel and Chris Coleman on 25/1 .
