NBC affiliate KFOR reports that officers first started pursuing the driver after reports that the truck was stolen.
The pursuit began Friday morning and led officials through the metro for about three hours.
He got off I-240 and drove south on Eastern Avenue and turned into Moore city limits.
The truck lost its trailer while going through a field.
At that point, another vehicle drove up and the driver appeared to pull out a gun and shoot at the truck.
The chase stopped near Indian Hills Road and Penn Ave. where multiple police vehicles were on scene, however the man would repeatedly drive off and then stop again. The pickup later drove down a dead end street and crashed through a gate into a field. Police later caught up, tased him to the ground and is under their custody.
At about 1 p.m. the suspect drove into a pond and got out of the vehicle, leading police on a small foot chase.
The owner of the truck, Stephanie Jones, told News 9 the truck was stolen a week ago, but her husband spotted it Friday morning and called 911.
