Earlier today, Intex launched the Aqua Lions T1 budget 4G smartphone. In addition, the company has launched another budget Aqua series smartphone called the Aqua Jewel 2. The phone has been listed on the company’s website for Rs 5,899 and is expected to be available via major brick and mortar stores across the country soon. The device comes in champagne and black colour variants.
As far as the specs are concerned, the Intex Aqua Jewel 2 offers a 5-inch HD display and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC9832A processor, mated to Mali 400 graphics. The phone comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage, which can be further increased up to 32GB by inserting a microSD card. The device offers a loudspeaker at the rear and a textured back panel.
The Intex Aqua Jewel 2 features an 8-megapixel autofocus rear snapper with an LED flash. For selfies and video calling, the device gets a 5-megapixel fixed-focus shooter. The device also comes with face detection, panorama and burst mode along with frame photo modes. In terms of connectivity, you get 4G LTE, VoLTE, dual-SIM slots, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. A 2,500mAh battery with seven hours of talk time keeps the handset alive. Android 7.0 Nougat keeps the handset alive.
As for the Aqua Lions T1 that was launched earlier, the phone is priced at Rs 4,999, and comes in black, champagne and coffee hues. The phone features Android 7.0 Nougat, and sports a front-facing LED flash for better quality selfies under low light conditions. The device comes with a 5.2-inch qHD display, and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC 9832 processor, mated to 1GB of RAM. The other specs include an 8MP rear snapper, a 5MP front shooter, Android Nougat, 4G LTE, VoLTE, dual-SIM slots, 8GB of expandable storage and a 2,700mAh battery
