Gang story gets the manga treatment for limited-run Animate shop.
Thanks to CLAMP, the gangs of HiGH&LOW have never been cuter. The multimedia franchise encompasses films, Hulu series, CDs, manga, short anime, and even collectible figures. The most recent addition to the franchise is HiGH&LOW THE MOVIE 3 / FINAL MISSION, which came to Japanese cinemas last week.
In honor of the film, Animate has launched a limited-time shop — an ONLYSHOP, as they call it — full of merch from the series. The shop will display these adorable CLAMP renditions of the series’s leads from HiGH&LOW g-sword, as well as costumes used in the actual live-action versions. Additionally, fans who spend over 1,000 yen on specially-marked items will receive one of these art pieces as a bromide.
HiGH&LOW follows five gangs, known collectively as S.W.O.R.D., who have divided a town amongst themselves after the downfall of the town’s previous gang, Mugen. The films serve as a sequel to the Hulu series.
The HiGH&LOW ONLYSHOP will take place November 15-28 at Animate Shibuya, and December 28 – January 8 at Animate Osaka Nihonbashi. All gifts are available only while supplies last.
