Christmas bus times for Nottingham and Nottinghamshire released

It’s bad news if you want to go anywhere on Christmas or New Year’s Day but good news for late night bus users

This year’s Christmas bus timetables have been released – so you can work out how you’re going to get to those boxing day sales and New Year’s parties.

Both Trentbarton and Nottingham City Transport have now released their timetable for the Christmas period, starting on Christmas Eve with services returning to normal on January 2.

Christmas Eve

NCT: Normal Sunday service, with last buses between 7pm and 8pm.

Trentbarton: There will be a normal Sunday service with last buses at around 6pm.

Christmas Day

NCT: No buses.

Trentbarton: No buses.

Boxing Day

NCT: There will be buses between 6am and 6pm running on 6, 10, 17, 27, 28, 36, 39, 41, 43, 44, 45, 48, 49X, 58, 68/9, 77, 89.

Trentbarton: There will be a Sunday service on most lines, but there will be no buses for Skylink, Amberline and 20 and pronto will run hourly between Mansfield and Nottingham during the day.

Wednesday 27 and Thursday 28

NCT: There will be a Saturday service, except Navy 49 will run normal weekday times. On the NightBus, only the N4 and N34 will run.

Trentbarton: A Saturday service will run until midnight, but Saturday nightbuses will not be running.

Friday 29

NCT: There will be a Saturday service, except Navy 49 which will run normal weekday times. NightBus will run as normal.

Trentbarton: A Saturday service including nightbuses.

Saturday 30

NCT: A normal Saturday service including NightBus.

Trentbarton: A normal Saturday service including nightbuses.

New Year’s Eve

NCT: There will be a normal Sunday service, with last buses between 7pm and 8pm, with some later evening journeys on 6, 17, 27, 28, 36, 45, 48, 58, 68/9, 77 and 89. The NightBus will be running until 3.15am.

Trentbarton: A Sunday service with last buses around 8pm, with nightbuses “for party animals” later.

New Year’s Day

NCT: No buses.

Trentbarton: No buses.
