Every year People Magazine’s choice for Sexiest Man Alive sets off a stream of debate, but for 2017 they may have outdone themselves.
“I can’t wait to shove this up Adam’s ass”, he said.
Blake Shelton just nabbed another major honor, and it’s not a country music award.
“I’ve been ugly my whole life”, Shelton, 41, said in a statement on Tuesday.
“I’m not going to treat this like Hugh Jackman or one of those guys who’s humble about it. People are going to hate me over this”, Shelton joked, Reuters reported. “I was just amazed and stunned and it nearly seemed like they were kidding, but they weren’t, so that’s cool”, Levine said of taking home the honor back in 2013.
“I was all over the place (in high school)”, Ventimiglia told People magazine.
It turns out, girlfriend Gwen Stefani pushed him to accept the honor. “I think to describe myself as a child, one word comes to mind”.
Still, he added: “I’m owning this moment”.
Shelton and Stefani couldn’t be a more supportive couple. “As proud as I am and honored that you guys asked me, that’s really the only thing I care about”.
However, the best part about the new title?
But a bigger incentive for the singer was being able to stick it to his fellow judge (and 2013 Sexiest Man Alive) Adam Levine. The magazine named the Pearson men of NBC’s “This is Us” as sexiest cast: Sterling K. Brown, who plays Randall; Milo Ventimiglia, who plays Jack; and Justin Hartley, who plays Kevin.
