Bidston Tennis Centre launched a fortnight’s junior international tennis today – involving talented young teens from 50 different nations.
The tennis Europe Under-14 tournament will be followed by an International tennis Federation Under-18 event.
This is the fourth year Northern Vision have organised an international junior tournament on the Wirral, making the region one of the most popular junior destinations on the calendar.
The tournament also offers promising local players the chance to be matched up against some of the most talented players in
the world in their age bracket, as a result of receiving wildcards from the organisers.
Fourteen-year-old Dan Urey and Joe Brennan, 17, from Liverpool are hoping to benefit.
Entrance to Bidston is free and spectators are encouraged to come along.
